  17. 2-3 tablespoon chopped Coriander leaves
  18. For frying--
  19. 1/4 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  20. 1/4 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  21. 1 pinch hing
  22. 7-8 chopped curry leaves
  23. 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  24. 1 tablespoon oil

Steps to make to make Handvo

  1. Add soaked rice, chana dal, toor dal, curd, salt in a blender. Blend until smooth consistency. Transfer the batter into the bowl cover with a lid and keep in warm place for 2-3 hour. Then add grated bottle guard, chopped onion, chopped capsicum, chopped green chilli, chopped Coriander, sooji, salt, Turmeric powder, chilli powder, baking soda, baking powder lemon juice, 1 tablespoon oil and mix well.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan over medium flame add Mustard seed, curry leaves, Cumin seeds, hing, sesame seeds. Pour approx 1/2 cup batter and spread it evenly with the back of the spatula to make 1inches thick handvo.
  3. Cover the pan with a lid. And reduce the flame to low and cook until top surface looked cooked flip it over to the other side and cook for 7-8 minutes. Once done remove from the pan. Once it cools, cut it into pieces and serve.
