  3. Meanwhile, soak in warm water, debone and wash dried fish. Keep aside.
  4. Cut and wash ram meat (mutton), put in a pot on heat source. Add in cut onions, seasoning and spices.
  5. Cover pot and allow to cook. When cooked to desired softness, drain from broth and fry in vegetable oil. Keep aside.
  6. Keep broth for later use.
  7. Wash and cook kpomo with water and potash (to soften it). You can also use a lot of onions in place of potash. They serve the same purpose here.
  8. When soft, drain and cut into pieces of desired size. Keep aside.
  9. Going back to the soup, add in water leaves and kpomo stir and leave for a minute before adding ugu leaves.
  10. Cover pot and reduce heat. Allow to cook.
  11. When Ugu is soft, add fried meat and dried fish. Stir well to combine all ingredients. Leave it on heat for a minute or two. Turn off heat source.
