- Firstly, in a large cooker heat ghee.
- Saute on low flame bay leaf, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and cumin seeds.
- Further, saute chopped onions to golden brown.
- Also add ginger – garlic paste saute well.
- Add in mixed vegetables like beans, peas, carrot, potato. Saute till all vegetables shrinks.
- Now add in curd keeping flame on low.
- Also add in turmeric, chilli powder, biryani masala and salt to taste.
- Keeping the flame on low, mix well till all the spices are mixed well.
- Also add in coriander leaves.
- Spread of soaked basmati rice. soak basmati rice for 30 minutes.
- Further sprinkle biryani masala powder and salt.
- Also place in coriander leaves.
- Pour in of saffron water. to prepare saffron water, soak in few threads of saffron threads in warm water.
- Further, spread of ghee.
- And pour of water from side of cooker without disturbing layers.
- Cover the cooker and simmer for 25 minutes or till the rice cooks well.
