- 1/2 cup curd
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp finely chopped ginger
- 2 tsp White urad dal
- 2 tsp ghee/ oil
- Rai
- Jeera
- leaves Curry
- 1 dried whole red chilli
- Jeera Powder opional
- to taste Salt
- Few pomegranate seeds
- Fresh chopped coriander for garnishing

- Take a bowl & add leftover rice
- Now add milk, curd, finely chopped ginger & salt to it.
- Mix well & keep aside. Let it marinate for 3 to 4 hours.
- After 3 to 4 hours check whether the consistency is wetty or not. If you find it dry add little curd to it. If not then well & good.
- Now take tadka pan & add ghee or oil any of your choice.
- When hot enough add urad dal & rai to it.
- When rai splutters add jeera, whole dried red chilli, curry leaves.
- Add this tadka to rice & mix well.
- Garnish it with freshly chopped coriander & pomegranate seeds.
