I used to make dhokla and idali from roti so I like to make this dish too. This is very easy, with handy ingredients and even just 10min preparation is enough. Just I like this dish (cutlets) from my family. When I 1st time made this before 3yr, from that time I used to make this, and specially make extra roties for this. Trust me, u will gonna love this too. It's really mouthwatering.

Ingredients and spices that need to be Make ready to make Roti cutlet:

  1. 4 leftover roti
  2. 3/4 cup flatten rice
  3. to taste Salt
  4. 2 green chilli finely chopped
  5. 1 tsp ginger paste
  6. 1 medium sized onion finely chopped
  7. 1Handful coriander leaves chopped
  8. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  9. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  10. 1/2 tsp jaljeera/ chaat masala
  11. 1/2 tsp cumin seeds powder
  12. 1/2 tsp cumin and coriander powder
  13. 1/4 tsp garam masala
  14. 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
  15. 1 tbsp curd
  16. as needed Oil to fry / shallow fry

Steps to make to make Roti cutlet

  1. In a grinding jar, finely crush roti. Other side wash flatten rice properly and keep aside for 2-3min. Now crush both again in grinding jar and transfer into bowl.
  2. Now, add chopped green chilli, ginger paste, chopped onions, coriander leaves, salt, chilli powder, turmeric, jaljeera/chaat masala, cumin seeds powder, black pepper powder and garam masala. Mix well and add curd, mix again and rest for 5min.
  3. Then make medium sized balls of it. And shape into cutlet. Roll into suji and press it lightly.
  4. Heat oil in pn or on tawa, add cutlet one by one and fry till golden brown and crispy. Or shallow fry them with oil till golden brown and crispy. (I liked to use tawa and do shallow fry them.) Put it on paper towel.
  5. Serve with ketchup or garlic mayonnaise. (I mixed 2tbsp mayonnaise, 1/2tsp garlic paste, pinch salt and chilli powder.)
  6. NOTE - You can make with Masala e magic Maggi masala and capsicum (just use turmeric, salt from dry masala), and schezwan and cheese.
