- For tempering
- 10 ml oil
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- Few Curry leaves
- 1 fresh green chilli
- 1 dry red chili
- 1 dash hing
- For garnish
- Few anardana
Steps to make to make Curd rice
- In a mixing bowl, take cooked rice, add curd.
- Add milk, salt, sugar, black pepper. Add the juice of a lemon.
If your curd is sour avoid lemon juice. - Mix all well. Add chopped coriander. Mix. Add the juice of ginger and mix. Let it stay rested for at least 30 minutes.
- Now for tempering, heat oil. Splutter mustard seeds, cumin seeds. Add dry red chili, fresh green chili, and a dash of hing.
The chili I use is very spicy. So I use less quantity. You can increase it. - Add this tadka into the rested rice curd mixture. Mix gently.
Curd rice is ready.
